Ital Delli

New home for Ital Delli
There was a restaurant in Old Tremblant that we would pass from time to time and wonder if it was open or not.  It looked like an Italian place and always had the appearance of being closed with the chairs up on the tables, no glass or silverware set out, and the building seemed a bit unloved.  We were wrong...the restaurant was not only open but one of the better dining spots in the Tremblant area.  It wasn't until they moved up the street a few doors to their swanky new location that Ital Delli got our attention and we gave it a shot (call us shallow).

Ital Delli was well written up online so we wandered in one cold wintry night, and we were very pleasantly surprised.  Indeed the new premises are gorgeous with wood floors, high ceilings, and many cosy tables comfortably spaced.  The food is traditional Italian and although of exceptional quality, reasonably priced.  I do like that they have a decent wine list that is accessible while offering some higher-end choices if you want to splurge or celebrate something special.   Service is quick, friendly and attentive, and like all restaurants in the Tremblant area, fully bilingual.  While we still love Vieux Four as a place for good old down home-style Italian food (and the best pizza in the area), Ital Delli is definitely one of our faves now.
