About This Guide

Wondering what this site is all about?  See below!

Who
I'm Dave, a Toronto-based blogger.  My wife and I bought a small ski chalet in Mont Tremblant and visit about once a month, discovering a growing list of things to do and enjoy in the Tremblant region.

What
We focus on stuff we like: outdoor activities in all four seasons (including both downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, golfing and swimming), dining, shopping, and relaxing.  Whether you visit one of Tremblant's many resorts, rent a chalet in the area, or choose to buy your own place like we did, our articles on things to do should be of equal interest.

Where
Our focus is on the Tremblant region, which includes not only the pedestrian village at the foot of Mont Tremblant, but also nearby Vieux Tremblant, St. Jovite, St-Faustin-Lac-Carre, Val Davide, St. Agathe and more.  All places you can get to within 30 minutes of Tremblant.

When
We bought our chalet in September of 2010 but only got the idea to write this blog starting in February of 2012.  As time goes on and we discover more, we'll continually add to our listing and update existing posts with the latest.

Why
I'm an internet kind of guy, so I like to research stuff online before I go anywhere.  But I found it very difficult to find in-depth info about Tremblant.  Understandably, the official Intrawest Tremblant site is focused almost exclusively on their mountainside village, so judging from their site, you'd think there's nothing else to do or see off the resort.  To the extent they discuss their events, the details are light and often don't tell you all the great things that are included.  As for the non-Intrawest stuff, the local businesses don't do a great job of promoting themselves online.  This humble little blog is intended to help bring the wonders of Tremblant to full glory.
