Maison du Spaghetti

What do you think they serve at Maison du Spaghetti?  Any guesses?  Of course, spaghetti is on the menu, served in heaping portions with a delicious meat sauce and (if you ask for it) covered in a layer gooey cheese.  The Maison is in St. Jovite, on the west end of the main street and is hard to miss...it has "Maison du Spaghetti" in large letters on the side of the building.

The Maison has become a mandatory visit for my wife and I each time we visit the area.  It's busy morning, noon and night but you'll always get a seat.  Mornings, the standard "greasy spoon" breakfast is available with eggs served any way you like them.  Afternoons it's a diner with delicious burgers, shakes and pastas, and in the evening it's an Italian restaurant with pastas, pizzas and red table wine.  The food is home made, served in generous portions and priced very reasonably.  Service is prompt and courteous.  This is not about fine dining...it's about comfort food.  Enjoy!
